‘Texas Sales Tax Holiday’ on August 17-19

Wanna get the word out on this ASAP?  The Texas Comptroller (the person overseeing the finances of the state) has announced August 17-19 will be the Texas Sales Tax holiday!

Add up the math and you could reap a windfall of savings on eligible items selling for under $100!  The key words here are eligible, and under $100.

While primarily on items for "back to school", buying the $100 "Scooby-Doo" lunch pail will set you back another 8+ dollars.  Choose the "Flinstones" for $99.95, and you'll be shouting Yabba Dabba Do in the checkout line!  Or, you can buy some "crayolas" and color over "Shaggy's" face.

Speaking of which, for those of you Classic Rockers with a 4 or 5 as the first number of your age, will most definitely remember --  the LUNCH PAIL (now called "Lunch Boxes" in order to be politically correct)!

Remember, you'll keep around $8 for every $100 spent.
