The Ghost Inside's bass player Jim Riley has said that he and his fellow band members are in "very stable condition" following a tour bus crash that killed two.

"I've seen news reporting that some of the guys are in critical condition so I’d like to clarify a little bit," Riley said [quote via Metal Injection]. "Tim and I were at the hospital last night and spoke extensively with each of the guys' nurses. They are all in very stable condition and their families are arriving today to be with them. They still very much need your love and support."

In an Instagram post, Riley thanked fans for their support during the difficult time.

"I have to say that the amount of actual assistance being provided to all of us is nothing short of overwhelming," wrote Riley. "Far beyond thoughts and prayers but actual tangible help that will go a long way in what is sure to be a lengthy recovery."

A GoFundMe account created to help with the band's medical bills and funeral expenses for the band's tour bus driver, one of two people who died in the crash, has raised more than $100,000 to date. The other person who died was reportedly driving the semi-truck.

The update follows a statement by The Ghost Inside drummer Andrew Tkaczyk's brother Nick.

"He is alive, however he has suffered head trauma, as well as broken bones in his lower extremities, and a shoulder injury," said Nick Tkaczyk. "He is currently in ICU and may require surgery."

The Ghost Inside's tour bus crashed into a semi-truck near El Paso early Thursday morning as the band was traveling to their next show in Mesa, Arizona. The band had performed Wednesday night in Lubbock.

Remaining dates on The Ghost Inside's U.S. tour have been canceled.
