Every year, lots of people participate in the Old Stone Fort Bicycle Ride, and this year's ride is right around the corner!

Saturday, March 18th, at 8:30 in the morning, riders will meet up at the Nacogdoches County Expo Center and  head out on an awesome bike ride through Nacogdoches county.

What's even better about this ride is that it's used by the Nacogdoches Rotary Club to help fund several charities in the community, including: Polio Plus, Rotary Scholarships, The Park at Lake Naconiche, The Rotary Mobil Library, and the Nacogdoches Interact High School Club.

Each rider can choose between a 40km, 58km, or 10km ride in and around Nacogdoches. Also, throughout the ride, riders can enjoy several rest stops. There will also be food, gear, and SAG vehicles so that riders can enjoy the ride safely.

At the end of the ride, in addition to getting a chance to stretch, there will be a variety of local music, food and drinks. And, of course, make sure that you make time to visit the Old Stone Fort Museum on the Stephen F. Austin State University campus!
