The Winnie Berry Humane Society Puts On ‘Barkoween’

Halloween has gone to the dogs! The Winnie Berry Humane Society wants to include pets in all the Halloween fun this year.

Bring the kids and the pets in costume for trick-or-treating at the Humane Society of Angelina County in Lufkin TX between 5 PM and 7 PM on October 31st.

There will be treats for both kids and furry friends alike. Participate in fun games, and enter for drawings to win pet costumes for the next year. If you're on the run, you don't even have to leave the car. There will be a drive through Trick-or-Treat opportunity, and you still might get to see some of the adoptable animals in their cute costumes too.

It's also a great reminder to have your pets vaccinated and micro-chipped at a reduced fee between Monday, October 17th through Friday, October 21st.
