Yesterday, influential pop-punk outfit Blink-182 unveiled "Bored to Death," the first single from their upcoming album, California. It's the first full-length from the band without founding singer-guitarist Tom DeLonge, who unceremoniously left the band early last year.

But DeLonge understandably has some thoughts on the subject and (as he is wont do do) took to Facebook to share them. He said he's actually been in touch with former bandmates Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker and said "we do have a future together if we want it." He does not, however, mention his replacement: Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba.

Here's the full statement:

While it sounds like there's a possibility that DeLonge will eventually reunite with Blink, it definitely won't be in time for their upcoming summer tour with A Day to Remember, the All-American Rejects and All Time Low. Check out those dates here.

Blink-182 will release California on July 1.
