Al Roker reportedly didn't budge for Alex Van Halen and his wife on an American Airlines flight from L.A. to New York Monday, according to the New York Post.

What happened?

Witnesses said Alex was seated by a right-side window in first class while his wife was seated in the center of the cabin with Roker in an aisle seat between them, according to the Post. Alex reportedly complained about not sitting with his wife, and a spy told the Post that Roker “was looking at his phone, desperately trying to ignore the whole situation.”

The plane was still on the ground at LAX, and a gate agent asked Roker to move so Alex and his wife could sit together, but he refused saying the new seat would put him closer to a tiny dog in a crate, and he was allergic to dogs. Alex and his wife swapped seats with passengers in business class after it was all said and done.

Alex’s brother and bandmate, Eddie Van Halen and his wife, Janie Liszewski were seated one row behind Roker.

Note to celebrities...anything you do on an airplane ends up on the web eventually. Pass the peanuts!
