Four episodes into The Walking Dead Season 7, and little has happened beyond Negan inflicting the worst of horrors on even those who survived the deadly premiere. Things may get worse before they get better, as the full set of titles and synopses through midseason tease that Negan won’t stay away from Alexandria for long.

Following Negan’s unpleasant visit with this past Sunday’s “Service,” this coming weekend will finally check in on the Hilltop with “Go Getters,” while the following week rings even more cryptic with someone’s “Swear”:

Episode 7.06 - Swear

Someone stumbles upon a brand new society, and this society is unlike anything seen before.

Okay! That’s … cryptic, given we’ve met most of the major communities expected to populate Season 7, but it’s always possible that someone stumbles upon The Kingdom or the Sanctuary who hasn’t already been. We’ve also yet to check in on Tara or Heath, both of whom had their own cryptic appearances in the initial Season 7 trailer.

As to the final two weeks of Season 7's first half, it appears as if more time at the Sanctuary is in order, followed by Negan making yet another house-call to Alexandria:

Episode 7.07 - Sing Me a Song

A deeper look at the Sanctuary and the world of the Saviors; members of Alexandria look for supplies.

Episode 7.08 - Hearts Still Beating

Negan’s unwelcome visit to Alexandria continues as other members scavenge for supplies; things quickly spin out of control.

One wonders if the two-episode scavenging mission might refer to Tara and Heath’s misadventures, or possible the scramble to bring Negan something as “interesting” as he requested. Either way, it’ll take a lot of guts to stand up to Negan again, especially if Rick or certain others aren’t around. Practicing their Morse Code, perhaps?

In the meantime, check out the latest from Sunday’s “Go Getters” below, and stay tuned.
