For those of you who didn't catch last night’s show (05/02/11), we had Warren Haynes, (Allman Brothers Band, Gov’t Mule, Grateful Dead) performing live in the Classic Rock Nights Saloon Studios with our night man, Eddie Webb.

Warren Haynes has devoted so much time to the Allman Brothers Band, the Dead and Gov't Mule during the past 20 years that he's barely had any space for a solo career. Last year, however, he carved out some time between his endless live commitments and cut his new disc, Man in Motion, at Willie Nelson's studio in Austin, Texas.

Haynes is known for his work in jam bands, but on the new disc (in stores on May 10th) he focuses on soul music – with help from Faces keyboardist Ian McLagan along with Meters members George Porter, Jr. on bass and Ivan Neville on keyboards. You can hear an exclusive stream of the disc here. As of now, the Allman Brothers have no summer tour dates on the books – leaving Haynes plenty of time to promote Man in Motion on a worldwide solo tour that runs through August.

Here is a clip of him playing live the studio with our night man Eddie Webb:
