It's that time of year again...time for the World Series! Unfortunately, there aren't any Texas teams that will be competing for it this year. I mean, the chances for my Texas Rangers to make it to the World Series went away weeks ago. As for the Houston Astros, they were only one round away from going. However, the Boston Red Sox ended those hopes rather quickly.

Now, we're left with the final two teams. It all comes down to a showdown between the Boston Red Sox and the LA Dodgers. Both teams have - obviously - shown that they're worthy to win the national title. However, they can't both win.

My prediction is going to go with the Red Sox. After watching them play against the Astros in the ALCS, I have no problem seeing them win it all. I haven't followed the Dodgers as much, but considering that their semifinal round of playoffs, or NLCS, took seven games, compared to the Red Sox five, I'm thinking that Boston will be walking away with the title in hand.

So, I'm thinking that the Boston Red Sox will take the series in six games, 4-2. What are your predictions? Let us know in the comments below.
