A-1 Party Rentals Saves 2013 Hushpuppy Competition at Texas State Forest Festival

Growing up in the world at least four states to the left of Texas, "hush puppies" was something I wore on my feet.

Here in Texas, "hush puppies" ain't no shoe, but rather that battered filled treat that turns to grits in Mississippi.

Congrats to "A-1 Party Rentals" for ponying up the prize dough and keeping the tradition of the Hushpuppy Championships alive and well for another year of competition at this years Texas State Forest Festival.

The festival will be held at George H. Henderson, Jr. Expo Center from September 18 through September 22.  The championship will be held on Saturday, September 21.
