A New Café Celebrates Their Grand Opening In Downtown Nacogdoches
There is a new place to eat in downtown Nacogdoches. This café is situated in half of what used to be House Of Traditions next to Regions Bank.
After House Of Traditions was broke up into two separate entities, this café moved into the side that used to be Galls' Café.
Stone House Kitchen just had their grand opening Monday, August 1st, 2021. They are located at 312 East Main Street.
Long Time Coming
They received their health permit at the beginning of April, and I know they have been working hard for months to get things ramped up.
Lots of locals have already had the chance to sample the food, and enjoy customer favorites like their chicken salad and scones. Their bakery is really sought after for events.
They have been open off and on since the middle of April. Now they are full steam ahead and have lots to offer.
Scratch Baking By Good People
They cook everything on site from scratch, just cooking what they are feeling. This keeps things interesting for them and the customers.
The menu seems to grow all the time. You'll find Soup, Quiches, Frittatas, Gelato, Cakes and lots more.
They serve Boots Beverages from Bellville, Texas, and they just got a new soda fountain with all their flavors.
Lots of grab-and-go, or take-and-bake options. Vegetarians will be glad to see menu items just for them. They are even open to making vegan dishes, if there is an interest.
Got To Keep Up
Stone House Kitchen always had a lot of options. They also have many rotating specials.
They are very active on Facebook, if you want to keep up with what's cooking. They will keep the pastry case full for you in downtown Nacogdoches.
