There aren't many adults who didn't enjoy going to the water park as a kid. Heck, there aren't many adults that wouldn't mind going to the water park now. The only thing is that if you don't have kids, it's kind of strange.

But what if there was an adult-only night at the water park? Before your mind goes off the rails, I'm just talking about a night where adults could enjoy the lazy river, slides and all, kid-free.

Adult-Only Waterpark Events are a Thing, Even in Texas

The idea of adults taking over a waterpark isn't some new thing. There are other venues that have been doing this for a while now. One of those is in College Station. It's called The Cove, and it's a members-only pool area, with an 18+ age requirement.

There are also parks that offer specific, adult-only nights at the waterpark. A good example of this can be found at Island H2O in Florida. It's a family waterpark, most of the time, that offers adult-only nights every so often.

What Would Adult-Only Waterpark Events Look Like Here?

Our only real option for a waterpark here in Deep East Texas is Splash Kingdom in Nacogdoches. They don't serve alcohol, which may or may not be a deal-breaker for some people. If you were just looking for a night to spend with other adults, lounging in a lazy river, maybe with some food trucks and some live music/DJ, it could probably work. If you felt like you needed to have an adult beverage to make it work...Well, I don't see that happening...

I personally think that an adult-only night would be a pretty cool idea at the waterpark. However, I'm just one person...What are your thoughts?
