The blood, sweat and tears of many months of hard work and training will culminate over the next 3 days at the Texas UIL State Track & Field Championships in Austin.  3A and 4A schools are first up in competition on Thursday, followed by 2A and 5A events on Friday, then Saturday the 1A and 6A athletes will be up for their shots at state titles.

  • Timpson girls - 4x200 m relay
  • Madyson Freeman, Douglass - 400 m run
  • Dee Dee Davis, Mt. Enterprise - 300 m hurdles
  • Malachi Blanton, Timpson, 300 m hurdles
  • San Augustine girls - 4x400 m relay
  • Hunter Murphy, West Sabine - high jump
  • JaToryia Barnes, San Augustine - long jump. triple jump
  • Jacy Stubblefield, Lovelady - pole vault
  • SaNiya Fowler, Cushing - shot put
  • Cade Willis, Cushing - shot put

Class 3A

  • Will Boyce, Onalaska - 800 m run, 1600 m run, 3200 m run
  • Makenzie Hale, Huntington - 100 m hurdles (pictured above)

  • Dre'Lyn Washington, Hemphill - 100 m dash, 200 m dash

Class 4A
