Some are easy, some are pretty tough but one common denominator is the fact that not everybody goes the distance. A buddy of mine's "no more pot" resolution lasted exactly 15 hours. Midnight to 3pm. (I think that may be a record.)
It's always a good idea to get your holiday shopping done as early as possible, especially when it comes to alcohol. You don't want to run out of anything "after hours" and, in Texas, those hours are weird.
A new law has already kicked in regarding vehicle registration in Texas and it is aimed, (primarily), at Texans who are not in the USA legally. A llophole in Texas' policy has allowed that up until now.
Tensions with and within Russia have brought the subject of nuclear attacks back to the forefront. Should an attack on the USA occur, big cities in Texas and Phoenix, Arizona will see major losses.
Marfa, Texas is a very haunted place, way out in the southwest Texas desert where it's super dark, super remote and home to all kinds of weirdness. Not to mention the famous Marfa Mystery Lights and, now, the Marfa Mystery Traffic Light.
A new, (not so new), traffic control system is starting to pop up all over the country and should soon be just about everywhere, including the 915. In fact, decades ago, northeast El Paso already had one of these.
Every now and then, someone starts up that crazy, "New Mexico should annex El Paso" BS; insisting that it would be better for both El Paso and the 505. So, if that's the case, how'd we wind up in Texas anyway?
