Check Out Our Newest Community Rockstar, Ashley Moreland

Once again, it's time to reveal a new Community Rockstar. I've said before, and I'll continue to say it, there's no shortage of rockstars in Deep East Texas. And this week is just another one of the many that we have, and she's doing awesome things!

Ashley Moreland, This Week's Community Rockstar

This week's Community Rockstar is Ashley Moreland. According to the nomination we received, "Ashley is the kind of person who is always looking for ways to help others. She is a familiar face at volunteer events, never hesitating to lend a helping hand wherever it's needed. She actively supports local organizations and individuals by sharing their events, fundraisers, and important messages on social media to help them reach a wider audience."

But Ashley does more than just helping spread the word on social media. She's an active board member for the non-profit Embrace It, she is a mentor to young adults, and she helps out with families in the community, "helping them navigate school policies, procedures, and available resources."

Ashley's nominator wrapped up the nomination with this: "Her willingness to serve, uplift others, and share her knowledge makes a lasting impact on everyone around her." And that's exactly what a Community Rockstar does. They do what they do, they leave an impact, and that impact grows, making Deep East Texas even better. That's why Ashley Moreland is this week's Deep East Texas Community Rockstar. Congratulations Ashley!

For doing these awesome things and being selected as a Community Rockstar, Ashley will be receiving a framed certificate from our crew here at Classic Rock Q107 and Zion Auto Glass, as well as a gift certificate to Lone Star Charlie's in Lufkin.
