Local Fire Chief Ricky Colle Named Community Rockstar for Going Above and Beyond

Last week we had our very first police officer that was named Community Rockstar, this week we have our very first firefighter! Good stuff! Our first responders and law enforcement officers always deserve shout outs for what they do, and this week's rockstar is no different.

Ricky Colle is the Newest Deep East Texas Community Rockstar

This week's Community Rockstar is Ricky Colle! According to the nomination that we received, he is the fire chief for the Garrison Fire Department. He's served there for several years, and "always has a good story to tell." The nominator went on to say, "He goes above and beyond serving the community in every way possible. Ricky is well known around Garrison and is the one everyone calls when they need help."

But he's not only a firefighter. He, like lots of our other Community Rockstars, is doing cool things at home too, being a loving dad, grandad and husband.

The nomination wrapped up with this: "No one deserves a shout out more than him." That's why Ricky Colle is this week's Deep East Texas Community Rockstar. He's doing great things for the community, making Deep East Texas even better.

Like our other rockstars, Ricky will be receiving a framed certificate from Q107 and Zion Auto Glass, along with a gift certificate to Lone Star Charlie's in Lufkin. If you know someone that's doing great things for Deep East Texas like he is, you can nominate them at the link below:
