Meet Bonnie Fore, Our First Community Rockstar In Deep East Texas
We've said it before and we'll continue to say it: There's no shortage of awesome people in Deep East Texas who are looking to make our area even better every day. We like to refer to those people as Community Rockstars.
Every week, we're going to be selecting a different individual, nominated by you guys, who will be the featured Community Rockstar. This week, we have the privilege of naming our very first Deep East Texas Community Rockstar.
Bonnie Fore, the Very First Deep East Texas Community Rockstar
This week's Community Rockstar is Bonnie Fore. According to the nomination that we received, Bonnie is a full-time employee and mother who also spends lots of time working with animals, specifically by volunteering at the Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter in Lufkin. She has done this for several years now, and the nominator mentioned that Bonnie believes that every animal deserves a loving home, regardless of circumstances.
Probably the coolest part of the submission though, is that Bonnie "is a role model for so many. To know Bonnie is to love her." The last part of the nomination kind of summed it all up: "If we were all like Bonnie, the world would be a much better and happier place."
Bonnie Fore is the very first Community Rockstar, so Classic Rock Q107 and Zion Auto Glass will be providing her with a special framed certificate, as well as a gift certificate to Lone Star Charlie's in Lufkin. Congratulations, Bonnie, and thanks for all that you're doing for Deep East Texas!
