Next Up on the Community Rockstar List, Terri Cornell!

Well, it's time once again for us to announce a Community Rockstar. This week's rockstar works for one of our local hospitals, and she does all that she can to make sure that patients are looked after.

Terri Cornell is Our Latest Community Rockstar

Terri Cornell is the newest addition to our Community Rockstar list. Terri's nominator described her as the "heart of the discharge process at Woodland Heights." They go on to say that she is "a tireless advocate who treats every patient's recovery as a personal mission."

She is making sure that the patients under her watch are taken care of, even after they leave the hospital. The nominator went on to say that "Her work is a masterful blend of clinical vigilance and proactive empathy," and that Terri made sure that they, "return home not just with a folder of instructions, but with the dignity, resources, and confidence they need to stay well." She does all of the things she does with what they call a "never-say-die" attitude.

So, because of the things she does for her patients and her workplace, Ms. Terri Cornell has definitely earned the title of Community Rockstar. She doesn't have to go to the lengths that she does, but because she does, it makes Deep East Texas even better. Terri will be receiving a framed certificate from the crew here at Classic Rock Q107 and Zion Auto Glass, as well as a gift certificate to Lone Star Charlie's Restaurant in Lufkin.
