This Week’s Deep East Texas Community Rockstar is Yazmin Jackson!

Another person has now been added to the list of Community Rockstars. This person is doing a little bit of everything. From work, to grad school, to motherhood, to volunteering and even more, they have definitely earned the title of Community Rockstar.

Yazmin Jackson: Our Newest Deep East Texas Community Rockstar

Yazmin Jackson is the newest addition to the ever-growing Community Rockstar list. She is truly doing all of the things.

According to Yazmin's nominator, "Yazmin is a true community rockstar because she constantly gives back to Deep East Texas through volunteering, advocacy, and supporting families in need. She uses her time and talents to help others while also balancing work, graduate school, and motherhood with compassion and dedication."

They went on to tell how Yazmin helps out with the Beyond the Diagnosis Foundation, supporting families that have children with special needs, and how she also volunteers at local events. They closed with this: "She is always willing to help others, encourage young students, and make a difference in her community through both service and kindness."

All of these things just show that this week's Community Rockstar is doing her part to make Deep East Texas even better. Congratulations, Ms. Yazmin Jackson, this week's Deep East Texas Community Rockstar! She'll be receiving a framed certificate from Classic Rock Q107 and Zion Auto Glass, and a gift certificate to Lone Star Charlie's.
