After years of trying and campaigning, Alice Cooper will finally be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Monday. As Cooper puts it, he was Susan Lucci for a long time.
Cooper talked with USA Today
about the honor, and said this recognition comes at a time when he can really appreciate it. He likes living a normal life -- out of the rock cycle of drugs and babes, and he enjoys playing golf and shopping.

This Alice character didn't want any part of my life. I separated the two, and I found that Alice became more defined as Alice, and I had my own life.”
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction happens March 14, but airs March 20 on Fuse.
