Slipknot / Stone Sour frontman and Loudwire’s main squeeze Corey Taylor is having knee surgery today. The musician is having both knees operated on for undisclosed reasons, with Corey sharing the news and a photo of him in a hospital bed via social media.

Taylor went under the blade in 2016 for spinal surgery after spending a long stretch of time with an injury. “Basically broke my neck a while back and didn’t realize it,” Taylor shared, elaborating that he had two discs replaced and work done on his vertebrae.

Now, right before the Slipknot machine is starting to rev up, Corey is getting both knees fixed. “Surgery in both knees today- soon I’ll be worth Six Million Dollars!! See you all soon!” Taylor posted.

The king of our hearts has gotten a flood of support from fellow musicians:

Good luck brother!! - Nergal (Behemoth)

Both? ... yikes buzz .... I’ll send soup - Zach Meyers (Shinedown)

Taylor also got a hail of devil horn emojis from Anthrax drummer Charlie Benante.

Cherry Bombs performer and fiance Alicia Dove also shared a video from pre-surgery:

We’d like to wish Corey a safe procedure and speedy recovery. Slipknot are scheduled to perform May 17 on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Fans continue to speculate whether new masks will be debuted or if a replacement for Chris Fehn will be unveiled.
