Musical group "Def Leppard" is celebrating 35 years of what was originally described as the "New Wave of British Heavy Metal" movement, with the current line-up featuring Joe Elliot, Rick Allen, Rick Savage and former "Dio" guitarist, Vivian Campbell.

And, it is Mr. Campbell, whom gets today's headline.

Back in '82, Leppard's "Bringin' On the Heartbreak" was a a stellar rock anthem dedicated to the commiseration of miserable relationships, and although Vivian was not yet a band member when "Heartbreak" was smokin' the airwaves, he's finding out fast that life truly imitates art.

After 25 years of wedding bliss, Campbell and his wife Julie are calling it quits.  Citing the old standby, irreconcilable differences (translation:  I want to be a "horn dog" again) , he's asking the courts for relief of spousal support (good luck!), and joint custody of their two children, ages 11 and 13.

You also may remember Campbell strummin' for "Thin Lizzy", and briefly with "Whitesnake" after John Sykes packed it up in 1987.
