Dogs Take Over Splash Kingdom On Sunday, September 8th
Have you ever had the desire to take your dog to the waterpark with you? Most of the time this is frowned upon. If you were to take your furry, four-legged friend with you, you would not only be denied entry, but you would be laughed out of the park.
However, next month those tables will be turned by Splash Kingdom Waterpark in Nacogdoches.
Beginning at 2 PM on Sunday, September 8th, Splash Kingdom will be hosting "Bark In The Park". You can bring your dogs with you to the park, and they can enjoy Splash Kingdom with you! You can take them with you into the activity pool, the lazy river and the kids' area of the park. Tickets are $12 per person, and there's also a limit of two dogs per person. And, if you were curious about the other parts of the park, the slides will be open to the humans in attendance, just not the dogs.
There are a few other housekeeping rules to keep in mind as well:
- Aggressive dogs will not be permitted to enter the park for the event.
- You must show your dog's vaccination records in order to enter the event.
- You will be required to sign an attendee agreement and waiver.
Oh, and as always, the concession stand will be open for the event.
For more information, you can check out the Bark In The Park event page on Facebook, or you can check out the Splash Kingdom Facebook page! Now, put it in your calendar so that your dogs can enjoy the waterpark, too!
