Flour and Flower is Celebrating Their One-Year Anniversary this Weekend

A year is an impressive milestone. Keeping a business running successfully for a year is even more impressive. That means that when business owners reach that one-year mark, they should be congratulated. Well, one local Nacogdoches business - The Flour & Flower Company - is hitting that mark, this weekend.

What is The Flour & Flower Company?

The Flour & Flower Company is a local bakery operated by Jenay Harman and Ronda Goodwin. They are a bakery, yes, so they sell cookies, breads, muffins and more, but the big thing is that they used fresh-milled flour in all their products. You can also buy the fresh-milled flour itself.

In addition to the bakery, they also have a full-size nursery at the store - hence the name Flour & Flower. They also carry gifts, coffee, teas, and they feature items from other local vendors.

Their store is located at 2519 N. Stallings Drive in Nacogdoches. They're open Tuesday and Wednesday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and Thursday - Saturday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

The Flour & Flower Company One Year Anniversary Celebration

The Flour & Flower Company will be celebrating their one-year anniversary on Saturday, May 2nd. They will be opening at their regular time on Saturday - 7:00 AM, and will be serving free iced tea, lemonade and chocolate chip cookies. They will also have homemade ice cream for sale, but that's only until they sell out, so you probably want to get there early.

In addition to the free items, they'll have all of their regular goods, and items for Mother's Day (Yes, that's coming up. You're welcome for the reminder.).
