To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars, Lucasfilm’s Force for Change has partnered with Omaze for a huge charity drive commemorating the past, present and future of the franchise. That future includes Phil Lord and Chris Miller’s (still untitled) young Han Solo spinoff, which is still lightyears (OK, months) away from release, so it’ll quite a while before we see a teaser. But with Force for Change heading into hyper-drive, we can expect more videos like the one above, in which Star Wars vet Warwick Davis drops in on Lord and Miller’s set and gives us a special sneak peek at a new alien character.

Davis hosts the first (of what will be many) charity videos, noting that he can’t really show us anything now because that would sort of spoil things, wouldn’t it? Instead, he offers a slideshow of not-so-classified photos from around the set: The parking lot, the vending machines, a silly selfie…And then, surprise! Lord and Miller make an appearance, and they can’t resist showing off something, so they reveal a new alien creature hanging out on set. Here’s a screengrab of the character:

I’m no super-fan expert or anything, so I can’t tell you if this character is reminiscent of a particular alien race we’ve seen or read about before, but here’s what I do know: That jacket is sick.

The young Han Solo movie stars Alden Ehrenreich as the iconic hero and follows his earlier years as he meets Chewbacca and acquires the Millennium Falcon. The Star Wars Story also features Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson as Han’s mentor, Fleabag’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge as the franchise’s first female droid, and Emilia Clarke in an unspecified role.

Fans can visit Omaze.com/StarWars to make their donations from now through May 11, 2018. Your contributions offer a chance to win one of three prize packages corresponding to the past, present and future of Star Wars. One winner will receive a grand prize, which includes all three packages.

The Han Solo movie hits theaters on May 25, 2018.
