Haus Design Services is Officially Open in Nacogdoches

It seems like as soon as Greer's closed down on Main Street in Nacogdoches, work began on the building - interior and exterior. Not long after that, a sign went up announcing that a business called Haus would be moving in there. Well, it did, and it's now officially open for business.

Haus Design Services is Now Open

August 10th was the official opening date for Haus Design Services, which is part of Johnson Furniture in downtown Nacogdoches. They are pretty much an all-in-one design shop. They do everything from lighting and furniture, to tiles and floor, smart home design, and more. They even do yard and outdoor design services, including designs for your pool!

And they've also carried on the work that was started by Greer's. They're still doing the custom upholstery work in-house...or maybe I could say in-Haus. (See what I did there?)

We dropped by one evening and met the managing partner and lead designer, George Hooker, and he gave us the tour and let us snap some photos. Take a look for yourself:

As you can see, Haus is already an impressive addition to the downtown area, and a pretty cool addition to Deep East Texas.

But there's something else to keep in mind. Yes, Haus is fully opened and operational. However, the grand opening is still on its way. This was set up in front of the building:

I don't know what they've got planned for the grand opening festivities but based on what we saw in the space already, it's probably going to be great.

Now, there's one less empty space on the brick streets and one brand-new business set for success in Nacogdoches!
