A recent addition to the BBQ landscape in Lufkin has left us scratching our heads. Local business, Russell Dickson Auction Company, is advertising a restaurant equipment auction at their location.

The auction will be held at 512 South Timberland Drive in Lufkin on Saturday, April 30th, 2022 at 10 am rain or shine. A buyers' preview will happen on Friday, April 29th from 12 pm - 4 pm.

They are touting the fact that all of the equipment is less than 2 years old. There will be a 10% buyer's premium with terms of cash, check, or letter of guarantee.

This Might Be The Last Month For Be Blessed BBQ In Lufkin

The reason this has us scratching our heads is there is no mention of the restaurant eventually closing on their Facebook. It made me think that they could just be about to get all new equipment, but that doesn't seem likely seeing the list.

They are business as usual today and they are active on social media promoting their specials. No mention anywhere if and when they are closing.

This isn't the only Be Blessed BBQ venture. They also have a BBQ food truck that navigates around the Nacogdoches area. If you love tacos you can try their Be Blessed Tacos truck. Both are usually beside Atwoods in Nacogdoches on North Street.
