I have to say I’m not very good at math, and I have no interest in trying to figure out what a twenty percent tip is on a $46.56 bill. I always make my spouse do the arithmetic. And you?

Whether we’re dining at Logan's Roadhouse, the Outback Steakhouse, or Cotton Patch, we usually try to be generous with our tips. We know you guys and gals work hard for the money. And besides, we feel like we need to apologize for the discarded french fries and crayons and kids menus on the floor, tossed by our three kids. A good tip is a great way to say, “I’m sorry you had to put up with this uncontrollable family.”

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is a billionaire and can afford big tips. Is he generous?

We’ve often heard stories of rich celebrities leaving without offering a good tip. Just because they can afford it, does that mean they have to be generous with tips?

On his honeymoon, Mark Zuckerberg reportedly dined out in Rome and failed to leave a tip after having lunch with his wife. In his defense, the tip may have been included in the bill, but some say he still should have left a buck or two on top of that. Wouldn’t that amount have almost been an insult?

Oh the pickle these celebrities are in when it comes to tips! Everyone is watching.

Speaking of tips, did you hear about Greg Rubar, the Houston waiter who received a $5,000 tip for a $26 bill?  Talk about generous....it seemed like this anonymous couple who gave him the envelope with that generous amount (all in cash!) were regulars, and wanted to help him out after thunderstorms destroyed his car recently.

All we can do is continue taking care of our East Texas servers. Thanks for keeping the Diet Coke’s refilled!
