👮‍♂️Police are searching for 8-year-old girl and 50-year-old suspect

👮‍♂️Authorities in Colorado believe the pair may be in their state


Wednesday afternoon, at the request of the Trinity County Sheriff's Department, an Amber Alert was issued for an 8-year-old girl missing from Coldspring, Texas. She was last seen Wednesday morning around 8 am in the 200 block of Arneson Lane. This location is on the southwestern side of Lake Livingston in San Jacinto County.

The missing 8-year-old girl is Haven Barker. She is 4 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs approximately 60 pounds. She has blond hair and brown eyes. No information was given as to what clothes she may be wearing.

Authorities believe that Barker was abducted by Charles Estep. He is described as a 50-year-old American Indian/Alaskan Native male. He is five feet, eight inches tall, and weighs 165 pounds.  He has brown hair and blue eyes. It is not known what clothes he may be wearing.

The suspect (Estep) is believed to be driving a black 2015 Honda Accord with license plate number PYS4575.

Recent reports have surfaced indicating that authorities with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation have information that the child and suspect may be in Colorado. The specifics of that information has not been made known to the public.

Trinity County law enforcement believe that Haven Barker could be in grave or immediate danger. If anyone has information regarding this abduction or the possible location of Barker should call the Trinity County Sheriff's Office at 936-642-1424.
