In what has become a cherished East Texas tradition, the One Act Play students from Huntington High School will be presenting 'The Grinch' this Thursday, December 1 at the Huntington High School auditorium. 2022 marks the 11th year of the presentation of this event.

'The Grinch' is based upon the movie adaptation of Dr. Seuss's 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas'. Some of the characters represented include Mayor Augustus Maywho, Martha May Whovier, Cindy Lou Who, Betty Lou Who, Max the Dog, and, of course, the Grinch.

The show will start at 6 pm at the Huntington High School Auditorium.  Adult tickets are $5, students/kids and senior citizens are $3, and kids 3 and under get in free. Tickets will be available at the venue on a first-come, first-served basis.

Something else that has become a bit of tradition is a visit to the Merrell in the Morning Show from some of 'The Grinch' cast members. Tuesday, November 29, we featured a number of the actors and actresses on KICKS 105. A special thanks to these talented performers who stopped by and hammed it up for a photo.

Huntington's presentation of 'The Grinch' is a musical, a play, and much more. Kids (and adults) are encouraged to wear their pajamas to the performance.  Get to the show early for some Christmas sing-a-longs, plus a surprise is planned after the show.

Here are some photos from a previous performance at Huntington High School by One Act Play members.
