Houston Astros' star Jose Altuve is getting closer to returning to his team. His rehab assignments had him do a stint in Sugar Land. Now his rehab assignment brings him to Corpus Christi for at least two games.  According to KIITV, the former MVP will play in Corpus Christi as early as Tuesday (5/16/23). Astros skipper, Dusty Baker confirms that  Altuve will now head down to Corpus Christi "for a couple of days" as he continues to work on his swing and timing. Altuve has missed the first two months of the Astros' season after breaking his thumb playing in the World Baseball Classic. We can't wait to see Altuve in an Astros uniform again.

Corpus Christi will host Tulsa for the remainder of the week. The first pitch for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday's games is at 6:35. Get more information about the CC Hooks by clicking here. Tickets start at $14.00.

BEFORE THEY WERE HOUSTON ASTROS:

What I love about the Astros is that they have their minor-league affiliates so close to  Victoria. Many of us have had the opportunity to see a lot of today's Astros players before they were superstars, such as Yordan Alvarez. He spent some time with the Corpus Christi
