Recently, Texas welcomed famous food critic and founder of Barstool Sports, Dave Portnoy. Most people know and love Dave for his honest pizza reviews with his famous line “One Bite, Everyone Knows the Rules.”

Dave a is a huge sports fan so he was in Texas to try out multiple pizza locations, and to see the Red River Rivalry. That game ended with Texas blowing out Oklahoma 34-3.

But before Dave left the Lone Star State, he took a stroll around the State Fair of Texas. While he was there he stopped at the iconic, Fletcher’s Corny Dogs. Because that is a necessity when you’re at the fair. Although some Texans had no problem calling Dave out during this review.

What Were Texans Angry About?

I’m a fan of Dave, it was great to see him enjoying all the fried foods under the eye of Big Tex. But what shocked me and most people who saw the video is that Dave said he has never had a corn dog. WHAT?!?! Most people didn’t believe him in the comment section.

After his first bite, someone taught him about putting some mustard on that bad boy. Although, he skipped over the mustard and went with ketchup instead.

He Called it a WHAT?

About two minutes into the video Dave called the corn dog a bizarro-world hot dog. Then he learned that Fletchers actually invented the corn dog. But you’re going to have to watch the video to see what he scored the Corny Dog.

In the end, it was great to see Dave have such a great time in Texas.
