
FBI Analyst in Cypress, TX Arrested Over Child Exploitation Charges
(Cypress, Texas) Most law enforcement officers in Texas work hard each day to protect and serve the people here in the Lone Star State. But recently there was one employee for the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) that was arrested and faces some very serious charges here in Texas.
FBI Employee Arrested in Cypress, Texas
According to KHOU, FBI analyst Brian Rausch was arrested and is being charged with possessing child sexual assault material. In total, Rausch is facing seven felony charges, which include federal counts.

Not Many Details Released Regarding This Case
It seems as though this investigation is still ongoing seeing how there aren’t too many details being released at this point besides the fact that Rausch was arrested and charged. The investigation was led by Pct. 3 Internet Crimes Against Children unit.
After the arrest took place, law enforcement searched Rausch’s home. He is facing five counts of child pornography, three of those charges are first-degree felonies, two are second-degree felonies.
He is also facing two felonies at the federal level, which is why the total number of charges is seven.

Everyone Faces Consequences for Breaking the Law in Texas
It’s important to highlight cases like this to show that no one is above the law in Texas. As always, all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Rausch will have his day in court soon, although when I tried to look him up in the Harris County Jail, it looked like he had been released.
