(East Texas) It was back 2013, when an East Texas woman was found dead by two truck drivers near the FM 450 ramp onto Interstate 20, just south of Hallsville.

The woman was identified by law enforcement as 51-year-old Lillian Desiree Descoteau, but law enforcement is still trying to figure out what happened to this poor woman leading to her death.

Here is What Law Enforcement Knows So Far

By the time law enforcement arrived on the scene it was clear that the victim had been sexually assaulted, beaten, and murdered.

Descoteau had been strangled, and was found wearing a light blue pullover, white bra, and just one shiny diamond stud earring, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
