See Inside “Bo” Pilgrim’s Daughter’s Home In Highland Park, Texas
- See inside the house that chicken built
- Highland Park is an exclusive area in Dallas
- The design is French Eclectic
If you have eaten a few chickens in your lifetime, chances are that some of that chicken came from Pilgrim's Pride. JBS, a Brazilian multinational company, now controls the company after Pilgrim's Pride went bankrupt in 2008.
That doesn't mean that the family isn't still very well off. Lonnie "Bo" Pilgrim passed away in 2017 at the age of 89.
His daughter, Greta Pilgrim-Owens, still has the means to live in Dallas' very posh Highland Park area. Her home is over 4,400 square feet of Venetian-plastered decadence.
Gretta Pilgrim-Owens' 4.275 Million Dollar Home For Sale In Dallas
When it comes to location in Texas, it doesn't get better than Highland Park. This is a 190-deep corner lot that backs right up to the Katy Trail and Knox Avenue near the park.
Because if you live in Highland Park, you want to be near the um...park I suppose. There are a lot of little details like this that make this home worth the 4.275 million dollar asking price.
The countertops in the kitchen are white marble, and you'll also find a Wolf range. There are four Texas-sized bedrooms, each with its own bathroom.
There is a nice pool out back, and a waterfall spa to relax in. The part I enjoyed the most was the electronic gate, 3 car garage, and space for 3 guests' cars outside the garage, but still within the gate.
Take a look for yourself and see what you would have if your mortgage was $15,000 a month, instead of $1500.
