I was recently wowed by the 65th Annual Carol Of Lights in Lubbock, Texas; the final event in the Texas Tech University Centennial celebration. There were drones, fireworks, amazing musical performances, and even Cirque du Soleil acrobats.

The town of Grapevine, Texas just made the list from Mixbook of most "Christmassy Towns" in America. That's no surprise because they have been reigning Christmas champs in Texas for a long time.

Though Texas showed up on the list, we only had one town, Grapevine, represented and it was ranked number 43. They named themselves the official Christmas Capitol of Texas 10 years ago.
We might have ranked so low because of the lack of snow here. We have way more Christmas spirit in Texas than that list suggests.
A few other towns made a different Texas-specific Christmas list from Southern Living this year. Grapevine also topped this list that mainly focused on small towns.
