From December 25th to December 31st, 2024 there were 10 felony-level arrests in Angelina County. The following local agencies all had felony arrests that week:

Felony Arrests Of Note In Angelina County
Dennis Lewis Brown, 42, was arrested on a litany of charges, including assaulting a pregnant person. He was already on probation and his bond was revoked.
According to The Lufkin Daily News Brown was arrested in 2019 and charged with public intoxication. Lufkin Police got a report of him acting weird in a convenience store on North Timberland Dr.

He tried to purchase a beverage but didn't have enough money. The complainant stated that he couldn't comprehend that he didn't have the money.

He later admitted to officers that he had done "coke" three hours before the incident, but eventually said the last time he did drugs was meth according to a Lufkin Police Report.
