Inside Nacogdoches County Jail: Felony Arrests Dec 14 – 20
As of this writing, there are 313 inmates in the Nacogdoches County Jail. Persons arrested in Nacogdoches and the surrounding county are held at this facility.
20 of the current inmates are incarcerated for Class A and B Misdemeanors. In this weekly report, we focus only on the 223 pretrial felons. (196 Males and 27 Females)
There are 34 pretrial state jail felons and only 36 in the "other" category, down from 52 in the last report.
Crimes Of Note In Nacogdoches County For Dec 14 - 20
Keith Gasaway, 17, was arrested by the Nacogdoches Police Department for sexual assault of a child. His total bond amount for the Felony 2 charge is $30,000.
Megan Hillard, 28, was arrested for tampering with evidence and possession. Her total bond has been set at $150, 000.
Nacogdoches Man Has An Over $1 Million Bond
Brian Molanders, 38, was arrested for evading with a previous conviction, along with many other drug charges that racked up his total bond amount to $1.105 Million.
According to KTRE.com this isn't the first time he has been under arrest for meth. On November 15, 2013, Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Officers busted Molanders for a 'shake-and-bake' meth lab.

Molanders, then 26, was arrested after a search of a home on Laural Street after deputies were tipped off about the activity. Deputies found several types of chemicals that could be used to cook meth at the time.

They also recovered about 40 grams of unfinished meth, according to Sheriff Jason Bridges. The 11 pretrial and state jail felons arrested from December 14th - December 20th are pictured in the mugshots below.
