Felony Arrests In Nacogdoches County July 20 – July 26

There are currently 296 inmates in the Nacogdoches County Jail. 15 of them are pretrial Class A and B Misdemeanor offenders.

There are 210 Pretrial Felons (184 Male and 26 Female) and that is what we focus on in these reports. There are 21 Pretrial State Jail Felons.

Those pretrial felons and state jail felons were arrested from July 20 to July 26. There have been 2116 bookings in and out of the jail so far this year.

The job was no less challenging as there was an alleged child molester and murder in the lineup this week. Though we don't know everything about their crimes, the charges are damning.

Garrison Man Arrested For Indecency With A Child

Robert Campbell, 29, of Garrison was arrested on July 20, 2024 by the Nacogdoches Sheriff's Office and received two felonies. He was charged with indecency with a child through sexual conduct and injury to a child.

Jared Gaytan-Delgado, 20, of Nacogdoches was arrested yesterday (07/25/24) for capital murder by terroristic threat. Nacogdoches Sheriff's Office was the arresting agency.
