A fan was kicked out of Globe Life Field during the Rangers game last night after throwing his beer at the Green Dot during the traditional Dot Race.

I realize folks like to get hammered at sporting events. Even though I’m someone who enjoys a drink and a good ball game, I’m not one of those people. It costs way too much, and being buzzed up in public isn’t my thing.

Don’t get me wrong – I'm not passing judgment. Lord knows I’ve been hammered plenty of times. It’s just that drunk people tend to make stupid decisions, and I'm most certainly not above that.

But I would like to think that even when inebriated, I would know better than to chuck a beer at anyone during a baseball game. There’s no way that will end well for you. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

However, some folks just have to f*** around and find out. And the guy in the video below did just that. As you can see, he was booted from the game. It also appears that his friends left along with him. And I wouldn’t be surprised if the incident got him barred from the ballpark altogether.

If I were one of his friends, there’s no way I would have left that game early if I had the choice. He could wait outside while I enjoyed the rest of the game.
