Rodeo Houston 2026 has just kicked off for another year. We always hear about NRG being transformed, the dirt being brought in, and the stage getting set up. But we never hear these kinds of things when it comes to the carnival and fair foods.

What are the most popular foods at the Rodeo Houston Carnival?

One of my favorite things about the carnival is the food and beverages. My personal favorite food item at the fair is the funnel cake and my favorite drink is a freshly squeezed lemonade.

What is the most popular ride at the Rodeo Houston carnival?

Check out a few of the stats from the 2025 carnival at Rodeo Houston, according to the Rodeo Houston website. RCS, the carnival provider, drove almost 420,000 miles to deliver the carnival to Houston.

There was a total of 143 semi-trucks filled with carnival prizes, and approximately 540,000 prizes were won in 2025. Approximately 2.8 million rides were taken at the carnival, and the most popular ride was the XL Le Grande Wheel, the really big one. This one costs $10 per ride.

The most attended concert at Rodeo Houston in 2025.

While we are at it, I might as well throw in the most attended concerts from 2025. Brooks and Dunn had the highest attended show last year with 72,256. Four of the top 6 were country artists.
