Every Target In Texas Will Be Closed On April 20th

(Mix 93-1)  Easter is coming up on Sunday, April 20th. Hopefully, there will be beautiful weather for this special day so that Texas families can spend time with one another, fellowship, share a meal, and hunt some Easter eggs with the kids.

However, with the price of eggs, you may be finding an alternative to boiling and dying real eggs. Those plastic eggs are looking more and more attractive this year. Plus, they're easy to fill and make way less of a mess.

Don't forget the candy or the plastic eggs

If you're invited over to a family gathering and you're responsible for the eggs, you'll want to make sure you get them ahead of time because one major Texas retail chain that is usually open on Sunday will be closed in observance of the holiday.

So if you plan on making a 'run' to this particular store, you'll be greeted by a locked and dark store.

Target stores in Texas will be closed on Easter

As they did last year, and previously during Thanksgiving and Christmas, Target stores across Texas are joining other retailers and giving their employees off this day and closing their stores.

So you'll want to make sure you have all of your Easter goodies and holiday meal necessities purchased before the big day.

Target isn't the only retailer closing for Easter

Parade reports there are several major retailers that have joined the movement and will be closing along with Target. So if you planned on getting your niece and nephew an Easter basket and a cute stuffed animal to go along with it, you'll want to get it done this weekend or next just to be on the safe side.

Festive decor, go ahead and get it this weekend too.

Granted there will be convenience stores that will be open along with some of the drug stores and grocery stores. In the past, a major grocery store chain in East Texas - Brookshire's, Fresh, Spring Market, and FRESH by Brookshire's - are usually closed for Easter too.
