With everything happening in the world, it is not always easy to see the good. Today gives us that chance, as we recognize an Amarillo local for their hard work and success.

An Amarillo woman has received one of the highest recognitions from the company she works for, and it happens to be a very big company.

Amanda Kenner is the General Manager at the McDonald's located at I-40 and Western. She was recently honored with one of the most prestigious awards in the McDonald's world. Kenner received the Ray Kroc Award. This is awarded to those McDonald's managers who are top performers. Kenner is in the top 1% of all McDonald's managers worldwide.

“Amanda was nominated for her commitment to excellent operations, dedication to her team and people development, and above all things, excellent customer service,” says owner Osman Dana. “She understands that she is only able to achieve if she works with and through her people. She is a dedicated leader and outstanding ambassador for brand McDonald’s. We’re delighted that we are able to recognize Amanda with this prestigious award.”

Named after the founder of McDonald’s, the award recognizes managers who demonstrate leadership, service, and a commitment to their community. Kenner is one of 397 managers honored worldwide.
