Mysterious ‘Barrel’ Shows Up on Texas Beach

A mysterious barrel or drum washed up on shore in Galveston, Texas and now many are asking what was in it or where this came from.

This photo was posted by Jeff N Jenny Lehr in a Facebook group for the island in Texas and hundreds of people are now speculating as to what this could be.  One person wrote that this huge barrel-looking thing may be part of a ship, while others say this could be a treasure.

Still, many are following this story and we can report that it was picked up, put on a trailer, and hauled away.

Another interesting guess by someone on social media is that this may be a barrel filled with oil or other radioactive materials. Or could it be a barrel filled with drugs?

These are all guesses mentioned in the comment section of this photo, yet no one knows what showed up on the beach in Galveston.

Many things are out there so if you're ever on the beach, keep an eye out for things and if you do ever find anything suspicious like this, you should notify authorities.
