How The Safest and Most Dangerous States Were Determined

WalletHub aimed to determine which states are the safest for residents. They used 52 key metrics and grouped them in 5 different categories to compare all 50 states.

The data includes the unemployment rate, total climate disaster loss per capita, and assaults per capita.

The data collected showed that the safest states did many different things to keep their states safe. Most states kept up with roadways, having strong economies and job markets, high levels of safety and disaster preparedness.
