Jason Momoa Cast As Frosty The Snowman In New Movie
When hunk extraordinaire popped up in Detroit a few months back speculation spread quickly that he may in town to film a new movie. Word is that he was just visiting friends, but if he was here for his next flick we're pretty sure this wasn't the movie.
Aquaman himself is about to embrace the cold as he takes on the role of one very "cool" guy. Momoa has been cast to voice the role of Frosty the Snowman in a live-action adaptation of the iconic holiday classic. In addition to providing the voice, the mega action hero will also perform Frosty's actions and movements through the magic of CGI ( computer generated imagery).
The movie will be produced by Jon Berg and Greg Silverman, and David Berenbaum, who worked with Berg on Elf, is writing the script. Momoa has a love for Michigan and the Detroit area, His Pride of Gypsies production company have produced commercials for the Detroit-based Carhartt company, he has talked about the fun he had celebrating his 35 birthday in the city with friends. At one time he was looking into opening a brewery in Detroit as well.
Currently the is no set release date for the film or any additional cast details. If you are anxious to catch Jason Momoa on screen soon, he will be next be seen in the remake of Dune, which is set to be released on December 18, 2020.
