Your Guide to July 4th Celebrations All Across Deep East Texas
We're less than one month away from July 4th celebrations. And since this year is the 250th birthday of America, lots of people are going all out for these celebrations. With that's happening around Deep East Texas, there should be something for everyone this year.
July 4th Celebrations Around Deep East Texas
When you start talking about July 4th, people automatically start thinking about the festivities in Nacogdoches and Lufkin. I get it, those are the biggest cities in our region. Naturally, those are the ones that come to mind.
However, there are more celebrations that go on around here outside of those two cities. Even the smaller, less populated areas have July 4th festivities that they're participating in. Some have parades, some are all-day events, some just have fireworks. But what do they all have in common? Celebration.
If you haven't heard of any of these taking place near you, it's just because you haven't been looking! Also, the "It's too far to drive" reasoning doesn't really work in this situation, since there are options all over Deep East Texas. Honestly, you can probably get to any of these celebrations within an hour, no matter where you start from in the region.

Look, I've even made it easy and provided you with a list of events around here. This list doesn't have a full lineup of events for each location, but it has the starting times and locations. Keep in mind, there might be some that I missed. If that's the case, feel free to let me know!
