We know you're still jamming Incarnate, the seventh studio effort from Killswitch Engage, but the band members are already thinking about the follow-up.

The metalcore icons are currently on the road with Anthrax on the second round of their 'Killthrax' co-headlining tour and Jesse Leach called into Lubbock, Texas' KFMX (audio above) ahead of the tour's stop in the Lone Star State to discuss what's going on with the group. "We're deep into a record on the road," the singer began before detailing just how much work they've already completed on the new material. "Mike, our bass player, tracks on days off. We've got the drums done. We're just working as fast as we can to get it wrapped up — we've got about 20 songs to choose from," the singer continued. "We're ready to crank out a record in the next 6-7 months, hopefully, and get that thing done."

Leach discussed Killswitch's plans for the spring and summer, which includes opening for Iron Maiden on their European tour. "We're going to try to get the record done before that, hopefully." he added.

Meanwhile, Leach and his Killswitch Engage bandmate Adam Dutkiewicz reportedly have over a dozen songs ready for their side project, Times of Grace. The next release will serve as the group's sophomore effort, ending a studio drought that dates back to their 2011 debut, The Hymn of a Broken Man.
