Nacogdoches Public Library Will Be Closed Monday, August 31st

Lots of people like going to the library. I mean, seriously, it really is relaxing to get into a good book. Some might say that that sounds boring, but it can be a great experience. However, if you're planning on going to the library in Nacogdoches, there's one date that you should have in your calendar.

Nacogdoches Public Library Will Be Closed August 31st

According to the Nacogdoches Public Library Facebook page, the library will be closed on Monday, August 31st. They will be closed that entire day and will reopen for regular operations at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, September 1st.

This isn't any huge, concerning deal. The library will just be closed for a day of staff training and maintenance. And, like I said, they'll be opening right back up the next day.

Something you should be aware of is that no fines will be assessed for books that are due on the 31st. So, technically, you'll have an extra day to get them back. You can also get them turned in at the book drop, which will still be available on that day.

The other thing is that you can still check out eBooks and eAudio books via the Libby app that the library utilizes. If you do that, you don't have to wait until the 1st to get your next book fix.

Like I said, this isn't some huge deal. It's just one day for regular maintenance and staff training. They'll be back up and running on September 1st, and everything will be back to normal!
