Nacogdoches PD’s First Pet of the Week For June Is Dylan!
By now, many of you know the drill. Every week, the Nacogdoches Police Department goes by the Humane Society of Nacogdoches County, and they feature one pet there. That pet - cat or dog - is designated as the NPD's Sponsored Pet of the Week there at the animal shelter.
This week, Sergeant Brett Ayers stopped by and got to hang out with Dylan. Dylan is about a year and a half old, and according to the Humane Society, he's a lab and pit terrier mix. They say he's a very friendly guy, and that he's also very energetic.
If you're curious about what Dylan looks like, here's the post from the Nacogdoches Police Department Facebook page:
I don't know about you, but to me, he just looks like a happy, friendly guy...well, they both do, but I was referring to the dog, specifically.
If you're curious about adopting Dylan, you can get more information from the Humane Society of Nacogdoches County. Adoption times, as you can see from the post above, are 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Also, if you're approved to adopt this pet of the week, the shelter will provide you with a voucher to our local vet clinics that will cover all of the spay/neuter costs, AND rabies vaccination.
So there you have it. If you're looking for a new companion, you should probably go by and have a visit with Dylan!
